1. Tourist Ports
Tourist ports for recreational vessels are a distinctive category of ports where the port infrastructure, the hinterland services, and the sea facilities functionally support recreational and nautical vessel docking.
Tourist ports are divided into three categories:
- A marina is a tourist port with land and sea facilities and infrastructure to serve recreational craft and their users.
- A shelter is a tourist port with basic infrastructure of at least 300 square meters (sqm), including water, electricity, telephone, fuel, waste and refuse collection, fire fighting, accommodation, and sanitary facilities and services.
- An anchorage is a port facility created within a protected bay or lakes or rivers, with a limited number of berths and basic facilities, and with light infrastructure and equipment that do not cause permanent alteration of the environment
A fishing shelter is a port facility that is operated to moor fishing vessels. They might be accompanied by port facilities of any kind, such as piers, buildings, refrigeration and mechanical equipment, that together with the associated land area, are intended to serve the fishing vessels and the sales of the catched products.
