Cruise lines are expanding their target population, attracting younger age groups such as families and youngsters. While it used to be a “65+ type of market”, in 2018 the average age of cruisers was 46,7 years. Just 13% was over 70 years old, and the 65+ years old group was standing at 32% of all persons that cruised within the year.
