The Caribbean and the Mediterranean dominate the list of the largest cruise ports. The two largest are not turn ports but ports of call. Nassau (Bahamas) is commonly a port of call of most cruises departing from the major turn ports of Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral). Cozumel is a marquee (must see) port for most Western Caribbean cruises. St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Grand Cayman are also marquee Caribbean ports that most itineraries call. The major Mediterranean cruise ports are all turn ports, followed by marquee ports such as Livorno (serving Pisa), Dubrovnik, and Katakolo (access to Olympia). Juneau and Ketchikan are key call ports for Alaskan cruises.
