Based on length, the key segments of the yacht market are three:
- The less than 24-meter yachts. Owners of these yachts enjoy the ease of handling and low operating costs, as well as innovative, space-saving, and multifunctional design. Electric and hybrid propulsion methods are on the rise.
- The 24 – 45 meter yachts. This segment dominated the market (a 64% share in 2024). Fully customised yachts offering luxury and bringing smart integration for navigation and entertainment remain diachronically popular.
- The above 45-meter yachts. These offer luxurious amenities for well-being onboard, including spas, gyms, and cinemas. The first yachts to incorporate green technologies are a result of the continued interest in yachts designed for remote cruising, featuring fuel storage and autonomous navigation systems for safer long-distance sailing.
