Among international travellers, one in three has taken a cruise, and 82% of those who have cruised express a firm intention to cruise again, i.e., an increase compared to pre-pandemic levels.
Cruise frequency is also on the rise. According to the CLIA December 2024 Sentiment, Perception & Intent Research,14% of cruise travellers are cruising twice a year (up from 12% in 2023), and 11% take three to five cruises annually (up from 10% in 2023). One out of four of the Repeat cruise travellers report cruising two or more times per year.
