Different configurations exist for ramps on RoRo vessels. The stern quarter ramp is most commonly used for PCTCs and PCCs. In the case of PCTCs, the ramp is strengthened for high and heavy cargoes like industrial and agricultural equipment and rolling project cargoes loaded on trailers. RoPax vessels are typically equipped with bow ramps or stern ramps.
